When's the leather retrim? :) I've said it again but it's a lovely car! :)

Great spec on your car, read your build thread last week  Changing your wheels?

My glove box is the only light I haven't changed :( what one did you use? Could you maybe post a link please? :) easy enough job to do?

Thanks guys.

I'll find out what day the retrim is this week, it was meant to be last Tuesday but got delayed.

Most definitely changing wheels! I've seen some VAG OEM wheels which I love, and also not seen on a fabia before. So gunna keep my eye out for a set of them.

I bought the same type bulb mate. 31mm festoon LED from eBay. Easy to fit, remove the whole glovebox though and fit from behind, as the light trigger is fragile and you'll most probably bend it trying to pop it out from the front.

Thanks guys.

Hi Tim car looks great! Are you planning a remap?

Leathers booked for Thursday!

Thanks Josh. Yeh a remap is definitely on the cards. Few more cosmetic bits and bobs to go first though, and 312mm brakes.

Ah sweet mate! If and when you do decide to go for it give Craig @ GotBoost in Bridgend a ring they've been really helpful and are revo and DNA tuning agents - I personally went with DNA as the map was smoother and about 10bhp more on the rollers :)

If you ever fancy a spin in mine let me know! I'm only by Cardiff so not far from ya.

Seeing threads like this sometimes makes me wish I bought a furby instead of my Ibiza...

I'm pretty set on a Shark remap. It's good to have local advice though, thanks! And yeah, would be awesome to meet up!

HA that is strange. I nearly went with travelodge, but for £5 more found an independant hotel that had free wifi so went with that! We'll literally be two ships passing in the night B)

Ah that's fine then dude :) I liked the idea of having it mapped on a rolling road etc. can find if it's down on power etc.

Well sort something out soon mate

Spent the last month getting on with the sound install.

I've gone for a 4 channel amp to power front components and 10" sub. I'm using a 4 gauge wiring kit, with an autoleads adaptor to provide me with two RCA outputs out of my existing OEM double DIN head unit. This give me the speakers and sub on separate channels.

I've installed the amp under the front seat for stealth, and will be making a custom fibreglass sub box.

I'm using Alpine Type G front components, with Golf 4 adaptors

The speakers sound amazing, really really happy with them. I've tested the sub and it works great, it's not fitted yet though as I don't have a box!
