After waiting nearly three months for a Superb Elegance Hatch 2.0 TDI CR 170 in Amethyst and Onyx trim, turned up today to collect it, found they'd ordered an SE instead. I'm quite cross with White Dove of Cardiff ... grrrr

What spec was on the order form?

Would have thought if they had made an error they would have contacted you sooner?

What is their take on it?

Wasn't spotted until I saw the wrong variant on the acceptance of registration documents from DVLA. Angry ...

And now?

I was in a similar situation in that the dealer ordered me an estate rather than the saloon. They offered to re-order the correct saloon version, but I was happy to take the estate. If you would be satisfied with the SE and the big discount that they offer you, take it. If not, you will have to wait for the correct car to be delivered.

Can I expect them to honour the no VAT and zero % finance that was available at the time of the original order? I really wanted what I ordered ...

Absolutely! You shouldn't miss out through their incompetence!

Reorder the correct vehicle. I'd expect extras too.

There are no excuses. They just need to put it right.

Sorted, I've been lent an Octavia 1.6 TDI CR SE+, correct car ordered, successfully negotiated. Here's the upside though, if there's anyone that wants a Superb SE 2.0 TDI CR 170ps in Amethyst with Park Assist and upgraded sound system, it's at White Dove in Cardiff.

You shouldn't have to have gone through that though, jokers, if I were you I would go elsewhere for service/warranty work.

Trust me on this I have history with them, and for christs sake don't mention you use this site :thumbup:

Disappointed - no longer, picked up the Elegance last week, what a fabulous car, colour, engine. Still learning but now very happy. :rofl:
