lol Well, i'm sure it will be worth the wait in the summer when i can stick my drink in there.

Though, a bit uncertain as to how reliable it's going to be for holding my drinks. I had a Ribena bottle in there on Monday and it was moving around while on the move, so maybe it will be more of a stationary cup holder!!

I stuck a tiny screwdriver down the side between the buttons and gently levered it out. Though it does have a bit of plastic that goes down behind the trim to the left of the stereo, so it might be easier to remove the heater panel, then the trim to the left of the stereo and then the button.

is it almost spring loaded like the interior light cover? same method for removeing the heater panel and the radio side trim?

I didn't take the heater panel out at all. Just took the button cover off, removed the screw from behind and job done.

Can you put one both sides?

No, if you have a right hand drive fabia, you can only use the slot to the left of the radio.

Not doubting you but do you know why you cant fit it on the right? Wires etc?

On the left is a blank and pretty much empty space.

On the right is a cover and pretty much dash behind that, don't know what's behind that area of the dash but it doesn't seem worth hacking away at the dash to find something behind it and being unable to replace it!

Yea i parked too close to a hedge, climbed over the passenger side to get out and snapped my cup holder. Didnt realise it was out before it was too late :( looked on ebay and theyre £38?! Crazy expensive! My go breakers to try get one cheaper. Is that seriously the going rate for these?

That is a nice mod just a bit pricey for me, I wouldn't need it enough to justify and the basic cubby drinks holes will have to do for me

Hi, i have the passenger side heated seat control as the top left button on my VRS. Will this stop me from fitting the cup holder? Dont fancy paying the money and realising it wont fit. Thanks.

I don't think it will stop you from fitting the cup holder as the buttons will go back into place afterwards. You just have the wiring to contend with. I'm sure someone will come along with the definite answer or have a search around.

I've found this, which suggests you'll have no problem fitting it.
