Hi, I just got a new set of alloys for my girlfriends car. They are size 205/55 r16. They go on but the rear passenger wheel rubs slightly on a bit of plastic under the arch. The original wheels were 14s. Also, the car has been lowered by 30mm. Would buying a lower profile tyre stop the rubbing? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Yeah that's the wrong size tyre for 16s.

You need a 205/45 16 on the Fabia.
