got skoda fever! (and hello)

Featured Replies

Hi everyone! I have been really impressed with briskoda.net over the last few days and have found many interesting things about my little broom-broom.

My car is (actually my dad’s car or should I say it WAS) it’s a limited edition MK1 Octavia SLXI 1.8T, with body skirts, wood trim, full leather, and as far as I know it’s got every optional extra in the book for its age (99).

My dad has had this car from ex-demo and reluctantly had to give her up. So I am the proud owner of a mint condition 50k Octavia, a vast improvement from my previous car a Volvo V40; or as my friends called it ‘anne hathaway's cottage’.

I would like to put my mark on the car I was thinking about lightly smoking the windows it there anything else people would.

Thanks

RE-MAP! I already have an A to Z! and yes it is the 150bhp. a few questions: what will it do? How much will it cost? and WHAT IS IT?

Welcome!

A remap is reprogramming the ECU to increase power. The same engine runs at 180bhp in the vRS.

I don't know how much the map will cost, but it will have to be declared to insurance, so it could seriously hurt your premium ;)

150bhp is surely quick enough anyway :)

Hi and welcome aboard.
