Fuel for vRS

Featured Replies

Hey guys some point this week I'll be picking up my new (10 plate) vRS. No doubt it'll be running on air as Im picking it up from a garage. So what fuel do you put in? Normal Unleaded or the Super stuff? Does it actually make any difference?

thank you.

Do a search mate. There's endless discussion on the topic emoticon-0143-smirk.gif

To cut a VERY long story VERY short, just put what the inside of the fuel cap says. 98RON (or whatever high octane you can get) Texaco High Octane - BP Ultimate - Tesco Momentum - Shell V Power etc.

Put the above in and enjoy the car emoticon-0148-yes.gif

I just put normal in mine

This will start off a debate but if you can afford v-power and realise that higher octane helps a turbo/supercharged car then you'll work out that the 98 stuff is best B)

Oh no! Here we go again.

Actually I use potato water in mine, it's far better.

CL - 20 Rocket propellant works wonders for me emoticon-0105-wink.gif

A highly corrosive acid called aqua rega for me. Works out to about 300 octane.

Nowt wrong with a little fun. Let it run for a bit and if it gets too much then lock it. There's been quite a few threads lately I've barely seen and have disappeared, perhaps with a good reason. Feels like I'm missing out on the fun :D

Unicorn saliva works well and when i can't get that Squirel snot.:giggle: And occasionaly i will use V Power from Mr Shell.
