YETI ELECTRIC SEAT OPTION

Featured Replies

Has anyone having problems with their Yeti electric drivers seat?? especially on cars less than a year old??

I would be very interested to hear. Mine is not working properly even after many trips to the dealer.

A few people have posted that they have had problems. The electric seat has only been available for about 14 months. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Had our Yeti for 9 months now, and 7000 miles. No problems to date(touch wood)and the seat memory for the different keys is a boon - this being the main reason we specified electric seats.

Have had mine for over a year and 13,000 miles. No issues to date.

I had to have a new Seat controller as the memory function wasn't operating...

And whilst I still really rate my Yeti this list is a little disturbing:

  • Uncoded tow bar
  • Seat controller failed - replaced
  • Both leather front seat covers/pads replaced due to excessive creasing
  • 'Sound pack' speakers vibrating - additional insulation installed
  • Handbrake cable guide replaced
  • Tailgate badge replaced due to de-laminating ('white worm')
  • Main light switch replaced (not retained in dash)
  • Telephone control unit replaced
  • Both sets front discs and pads replaced @ 1st Service (8.5k) yesterday due to excessive run-out (Symptoms grabbing brakes)

Wondering now if it was built after the Friday pm tea break?

And before you ask - yes, I am fussy but only as far as things being how they should be!
