lights for heater controls on octavia 04 plate

Featured Replies

dont know if this has been posted before, sorry if it has

my dad has a 04 plate octavia silverline and the lights on the heater controls are not working. all of them. the heater controls work perfect but no lights so in the dark you have to guess what setting its on. ive checked all the fuses and they are ok. suspecting that the whole unit is u/s

any help would be appreciated

cheers vrsadz

Pull the fan control knob off, put some cardboard over it and pull it with a pair of pliers and you'll find the bulb a small capless 1.2W I think.

Finally got around to doing this yesterday, put the fan to number 2, and pulled. you were right, capless 1.2w, tiny little bulb. Had them in Halfords, so sorted. Its niceto be able to see the controls in the dark for the first time since i bought my octy!
