I have an X reg Fabia Comfort 1.4 16v and I appear to have lost 3rd gear, I can select perfectly well but when |I release the clutch all that happens is a horrible grinding noise and no drive. All other gears operate perfectly, in fact I am still driving it around and have even had it mot'd today, without any problems.... any ideas, or what gbox can i fit? been told it has to be one off a 16v engine

Guessing cable adjustment has been tried already?
