I've been offered a set of coilovers for a mk4 2wd golf for my octy and was wondering if they are the same?

I would have thought that at the very least the rear spring rates would be wrong. The Octavia is heavier than the Golf at the rear.

and the diesel Octy is going to be heavier at the front too, assuming the donor Golf was petrol. Better to get some proper ones rated for the car rather than saying hello to a hedge quicker than expected.
