i have a S3 MAF that i fitted to the vrs yesterday and i noticed a huge improvement in performance when on the throttle but was not so good on tick over.

do i need to incorparate fitting anything else to the car when fitting one of these?

running a superchip / CAI / S3 N75 / EGR deletetion

Is it mapped for an S3 MAF? IIRC the S3 MAF is 3 inches whereas the normal one is 2.5 so it needs to take this into consideration otherwise the fuelling and ignition will be wrong.

nah not mapped as just a generic superchip fitted when the car was brand new in 2002.

You need to get your map changed as the maf scaling will be wrong ;-)
