Any tips on getting the fuel through on one of these after a filter change? I ended up taking the pipes back off tonight and filling the filter with diesel as the battery was on the verge of dying! Seems no way to prime these and I even tried cracking all the injector pipes to allow the air out of the system but even that didn't do the job as it has on other older spec diesels.

There is no lift pump in the tank so normally you just fill the new filter with diesel and away it goes.

If you started it without doing this then it's going to take an age to get through.

Thats what I did and it didn't want to know so I filled the filter with diesel and it was ok. Thanks, will do that next time.
