so long as the rims were 5x100 that should be fine MK1 a3?

Y reg a3

Mk1 5x100 then so it will fit m8 though I'm not sure about the tyre size it may make your speedo be out

Hmmm ok what If there 5x anything else what's the script and also of speedo is out which way to slow or too fast if you get my drift lol am useless at that ****

The lass reckons they were of an a6 she has looking all over the inside of the wheels and cant find the 5x on them grrr

If its from a mk1 audi a3 which a y reg will be it'll fit fine. http://www.tyresave.co.uk/tyresize.html

Don't know what car you have or Tyre size so I'm basing it on a Vrs. The recommend limit that the new tyre can be different in size, either bigger or smaller is 2.5%. So if your car has 205/50/17 over all size will be 2.51% smaller so the speedo will be a little faster

225/40/18 should be fine speedo wise. Loads on here run that size and it is also the lcr standard size

If they were off an a6 then they won't fit

Ok will have to wait till I see them

I have a mk1 octy vrs ...

They defo came of an A6 and Went On her mk1 A3 that s all she can say without me seeing them

hmmm, if the wheels are 5x112 or different to the octy which is 5x100 (spaces between the bolts I think?) then you might need to get adaptors to fit them :)

might be multi fit ie 5x100 and 5x112

i ran 225 40 18s without issue

+1

also et33 will come right out under the arch. et 35 is the norm upgrade when going to 18"x8j rims which some say catches on the rear arches, the extra will prob see them catch more.

spiders: 7x17 et38 5x100

LCR: 7.5x18 et38 5x100

aftermarket: 8x18 et35 5x100

the et35 wheels are like that so they keep the track as close to std as pos. ie the center of the tyre the same distance apart as the narrower std wheels. your rims your looking at will in effect widen the track of the car.

tyres are the spot on match near as damn it.

The picture is quite dark but cn only make out five holes so won't be a multi fit wheel, looks like the TT V6 wheel but difficult to say.

i got 8x19 with et 30 but 215/35/19 im prertty sure if it was a 225 my octy would be eating them :smirk:

et33 in the middle i think you'd be in the area of suck it and see :giggle: if you got coilovers you'd have abit of margin for error :wonder:

hmmm
