elsawin problem getting vehicle electrics

Featured Replies

I've recently bought a Skoda Octavia 2 1.9 TDi and its excellent. However I got the ElsaWin disks off ebay and I'm having problems with getting part of it to work. Basically in the Workshop Repair Guide section:

body, chassis, drive unit, heating & air cond, transmission all work fine

the "vehicle electrics" heading opens up fine and displays sub-headings eg "lights, lamps switches" but when I drill down to any document and click it keeps saying it cant display the webpage.

Current flow diagrams: all works

Strict maintenance operations: all works

Body Repair: all works

How can I get the Workshop Repair Guide electrics part to work, so I can find out how to change bulbs etc??

Can anyone tell where I can get the real Elsawin? Is it from a dealer only or is there somewhere on the Internet I can buy it? Other than the dodgy copies on eBay obviously!

As far as I'm aware, it's dealer only. And yes, I have an ebay copy myself ! ;)

Mike, can you please tell me whether the vehicle electrics part works in your copy? I've found a load of files in .svgz format that need a special viewer (adobe svgviewer) but even though I've installed it the system still says Internet not available.

Dealers no longer use ElsaWin, it was closed quite a few years ago. ElsaPro is the replacement online system.
