Featured Replies

Gone one step further, trying to analyse the problem pof wheels jumping and steering wheel shudder at 110 kmph and above

1)Replaced all 4 alloys with alloys from another car : Problem not solved

2) Rotated the tyres and Alignment balancing done again : Problem Not solved

30 Replaced the suspension Linkages : Problem Not solved

:wonder:

Any suggestions?the dealer now suspects the axle!!

Front Brake disks could be warped giving the same symptoms

Only while braking - not during steady driving.

As far as your problem. Could you describe those vibrations?

Well I think we need a lot more Info such as what road surface, which wheel/wheels are doing it etc.

But it could be wheel bearings, shockers, bent suspension components or even a bent chassis.

I would take it to another dealer if you can.

The problem occurs between 100 and 105 kmph on smooth roads while driving steadily. The steering wheel and the whole car to an extent starts jumping as if the wheels are terribly unbalanced. there is no side to side wobbling only the jumpy feeling. Once I cross 105 kmph all is smooth again.

Unfortunately we have only one dealer in our city.

I had the steering linkages as well as the shock absorber linkage changed ,but no results.

Did they check the under trays for play, as the speed you mention might be the speed that sets them of vibrating. Or is there a rolling road near you, get it on one of them and it will tell you if it's the front end strait away when you drive the cars up the gears on it. if no probs there then you will know it's the back end.
