RTFM

Featured Replies

I have had the car since November 2010 and have just realised that I can isolate the alarm by pressing the small button on the driver's door pillar when my dog is in her cage in the combi boot.

Plonker. Just shows again RTFM!

I know as blokes we are not 'meant' to RTFM but when it comes to cars I do make an exception, you would be amazed at the amount of people who own cars that do things the owner is not aware of, simply because they have not RTFM :giggle:

Indeed RTFM that is useful info for when the little one has fell a sleep in the car and we leave him and lock the door. Also cos I didn't RTFM i didn't know about the heated mirrors until last Friday, it's ok only had the car 18 months.

Or press the lock button on the remote twice.

There is so much going on in the Superb that I sometimes look at it and wonder what I'm missing even after I read the RTFM. I sat for about two hours in the car when I got it with the manual just going through and setting things up. Now the car does things and I haven't a clue how I got it to do that! That thing with the wipers when it offsets them slightly when parking to avoid sticking to ice on the windscreen (I think) - who took the time to think that up?
