Can't get my head around this one

The machine was all set for large text so switched back to see what I was doing but the web pages are still odd, massive text on some the above google page ain't right and the flash page was an all white back ground, and the box that pops up on the flash install was white to ????

Any ideas ?? I've done Java and flash, reduced text size, still no joy

Tried upgrading ie? - that looks like ie6

Done that, now on 8

Firefox is the same !!

Some pages have like massive letters, I'm talking about 15 times bigger than that

Profile issue? Login on a different username and see if it's still the same.

Only other thing I can think of is something related to Accessibility settings under Control Panel, in case something's been selected there for visual impairment.

looks like somebody changed the default style sheet on the computer ;) not that I have done anything like that before lol

Hold down CTRL and move the mouse wheel up and down.

That didn't work ??

It's gone now so not an issue anyone more, the whole thing was in big typeface desktop as well !!

If the CTRL and mouse up and down didn't work try holding CTRL and pressing - or +

Were you changing the Windows DPI settings? The effect you describe sounds like Windows was set to 125% DPI which has an odd effect on applications, some ignore the value but some don't.

That just relates to the browser zoom settings. As Dave was having similar issues across the whole of Windows, that's what told me there might be something corrupt or not set correctly within the Windows user profile.

That's what you get when you take a picture of a screen with flash on :giggle: .
