Greenline II Tyre Pressures

Featured Replies

Hi, i've just noticed a friends tyres looking a bit low and wondered how mine were doing.

The car isn't very old but i can't for the life of me find a reliable guide to what the tyres should be running at.

As a greenline are they not supposed to be higher pressure than a standard Octavia, but what pressure??

Hope someone can help :-)

Is it not written on a label on the inside of the fuel cap?

Tyre pressures are the same as the standard car, the only difference is the greenline has low rolling resistance tyres but the pressures are the same.

iIRC true on the Octavia, just in case anyone with a Fabia reads they are much higher (about 42 psi on some).

Thanks for the replies,

The sticker inside the cap doesn't match up with the spec on the Greenline, engine size. The pressures it quotes doen't seem high at all, 2.1 and 2.0 bar.

One of the things in the greenline information is higher tyre pressures, and the dealer also mentioned this too.

I was hoping someone here could give me a confident answer!

Thanks

I have a new Greenline II hatchback and the pressures quoted on the filler flap are 2.4 bar (35 psi) for front and rear for normal use. This goes up to 3.0 bar (43.5 psi) on the rears for fully loaded.

As I said this is for the hatch, not the estate. However, looking at the latest brochure the weights for both are pretty much the same (hatch actually 15kg heavier?) so I should think they'd be the same.

I have a greenline 1 and mine are at 36psi front and rear.
