As they correctly say it doesn't have a diverter as standard, so does beg the question, does it need one?

I know what it's for, it's just one isn't fitted anyhow so I guess the turbo is to small to really require it, plus the throttle flap doesn't normally close up anyhow.

I wonder if VAG decided that it would be too Sporty a noise for the engine/car it goes in???........I know that alot of of the pipework (in and out) on the cars is there for "noise"....to make things quieter......

Personally I'd fit it (if I had the engine) because of the extra response it would give....
