Hi peps I'm about to take Dir of my new Superb it's the standard 1.6 diesel I have asked about cruse control being added I thinks it's just the lighting stalk that is replaced that comes in at 65 pounds which is reasonable. However it's 300 quid fitted!! Is this and easy job? I have a mechanic friend that could do it for me, is there anything else to be done reprogramming of ecu etc etc?

I'm sure on the new Superb same as the Octavias now it's more work. The switch unit (which includes wiper stalk) has to be swapped over ad maybe the steering column ECU which is now part of the contact ring. Then it needs coding etc with diag equipment.
