My gear box is apart at the moment and i have been toying with the idea of fitting a lsd, what option are there other then a quaife ??

Go for Quaife IMO

You could you a plate type lsd (kazz) but a daily driver not a good idea. What's wrong with quaife ? Mine is brilliant!

and they go inside the gearbox so will need some sort of knowledge when fitting...

If you struggle with fitting a boost gauge, you will struggle with taking a gear box out.

Another option would be a Tran-X diff, got the new catalogue here infront of me and they have a couple of pre-load's along with different ramp angles available for £555

I have a peloquin

You need some knowledge of how diffs fit, i.e shims and stuff. My peloquin came with all fittings, including a wide selection of shims. Made the fitting job nice and easy, even when fitting into a different box at one point. Gary @ Thescirrocco.com is good when it comes to Peloquin and customer service.

Lol i wasn't implying that I would be attempting it, simply that over here there aren't any specialist places like that, what I meant was would a mechanic be suffice or would I need a specialist. As for the boost gauge I know how to do it, it's just awkward lol

alex from browns is speaking to txauto sport about exactly what the warranty covers, for example if it were to **** its self would it cover the labour.... if it does i am tempted to take a punt at it as the specs states it seems to be a direct copy of how the quaife works. Now i understand you get what you pay for but if it works and has a warranty it may be worth a gamble especially as its half the price....
