1.9PD130 automatic consumption

Featured Replies

Just set a new personal best from work to home - 55miles of country road and dual carriageway - 52MPG by the computer (which on mine overreads by about 1MPG). Doing no more than 57MPH. Does this sound about right for a 1.9PD130 auto?

Same car and I am getting 30MPG, mainly city and a bit of A-roads. Your 52MPG sounds amazing to me!

Yeah, if I'm in town / city driving I don't get much better than 30. If I do ~70 on way home I get 42-44MPG. So I guess doing pretty well for a big comfy car, automatic too.

My 2.5 auto gives me 44-47mpg on that kind of stretch of road. But 52 is very good for a 1.9 auto
