coccyx pain

Featured Replies

I have had my Superb for 18 months now, and probably for the last 10 months I have been suffering with mild Coccyx pain. With not much to see what is causing the problem I was wondering if anyone else was experiencing any back pain at all.

Thanks

Dan

Itll probably be the seats, I drive a fabia and still suffer from lumbar pain and it gets more painful the more I drive so can only presume its the seat. I brought a lumbar cushion to see if that improved the position and it has helped slightly.

Hope this helps a little.

Could be anything? Your bed, your shoes, your posture etc.

Go and see physio. I did and my back is sorted now:-)

I have suffered from back problems for many years, but have never had a problem in my Superb. It could be your driving position. It is good to experiment with different positions (Fnarr fnarr).

I've had lower back pain for years, to the degree that I had to change from Fabia vRS to the Leon as I needed DSG/Auto for traffic. I did also find the Fabia seats not really supportive, and too soft.

As others have said, it could be anything. Does your bed sag? (If I sleep in a bed where me and SWBO roll together, I'll be in agony the next day) If you have a desk job, how good is your chair? If your sofa/armchair comfortable? I have to be very careful about how I sit, or I'll be in agony. I'm dreading the day I have to change the Leon.
