Remap advice

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I'm booked in to do a track day this Saturday at Donny, however I was thinking of getting a remap the day before, as my tuner of choice is about half an hour away from my hotel. getting it done the day before would save me having to drive the 4 hour trip and pay for a hotel twice.

Question is, is it safe to get a hybrid map and then go thrashing around the track the next day? The map is from a well known company with great reviews.

Thanks,

Chris

Yep is the answer you are looking for. The remap will put increased pressure on parts as you will be running higher boost/power, but as long as it is mapped within the engines limits and your engine is well looked after you should have no problems.

Cool thanks mate.

Car has been mine for the last four years and has been well looked after by myself so I know that's fine!

And the map will be done properly so might just get in done :)

Cheers!
