Alloy Wheel Question - Audi A8

Featured Replies

Here is an interesting one.

My Audi A8 Quattro Sport has 18x8 ET48 alloys running 245/45 /18 tyres. The wheels are a little tatty and kind of let the car down a bit.

I have a set of RS6 Replica wheels which were fitted to my Octy2 a few years ago, these 18x8 ET45 with a PCD of 5x112. Assuming the A8 is 5x112 PCD, which I believe it is, what would the different offset do to the appearance, is that 3mm further in our out from the bodywork. Looking at the current wheels, I think a 3mm move outwards will possibly look better.

I'll also need to check the centre bore size, and the current wheel nuts. I'll also get the brand new tyres transferred from the OEM wheels as obviously the Octy tyres would be completely the wrong size.

Any thoughts on what it would look like, maybe some can photoshop some RS 6 wheels onto my car.

A quick look online doesn't show any pics, nearest i can find is...

I reckon they'll look just fine, just a shame 18s look soo small on an A8.

Worst case, you'll need a set of spacers, which are about £50 on pikeybay.

Be sure to post pics.

3mm out (I think!), and all VAG under the sun is a 57.1mm centre bore, so should just bolt on!

They will bolt straight on using standard wheel bolts.

Just check caliper clearance on the front first.

Defro 3mm out!
