Can't get on Briskoda at home :O(

Featured Replies

Hello computer peeps,

Since the site update a couple of days ago i cant get onto the Briskoda site on my laptop at home. It will load up the home page but any attempt to click further (forums etc) results in the page sort of 'refreshing' and a small yellow hazard triangle appearing at the bottom of the screen saying 'error on page'??? I can get on at work (i.e now) and on friends computers so know it's a laptop (mine) issue. i have done all updates on it (java etc), cleared history, cookies etc but nowt...! any ideas?

Empty your cache, reboot your router, flush your DNS cache :)

Cheers Babs,

Done that lot last night and still no joy. Have done a malware scan, virus scan, emptied/cleared everything...! the only thing i didn't try (remembered too late) was flash player check/update so i'll give that a go when i get in :o(

Bizarre how all other sites work fine and Brisky works everywhere else....!

Briskoda has moved server, and relocated to a new datacentre and now has a different IP address to the one it had this time last week. the old stite is still online but should contain a holding page which will be seen until your ISP updates their DNS servers. DNS propagation should only take 24hrs max, but if your ISP is having issues with their DNS servers a lot longer.

Still can't get on having cleared/wiped/reset everything in sight so i downloaded firefox browser and......

HERE I AM...!

I quite often find that I can't post a quick reply message and that I have to hit the "more reply options" and then post from there.  Tis a right PITA.

Happens on a variety of machines, and browsers (IE, Chrome) and OS (win7 ult, win xp pro sp3).
