green or yellow 007p spring

Featured Replies

car is standard at the minute which points me to the green spring....

however car will be mapped in a months time, should i still run the green spring?

mods will be

carbon intake

and 007p

and a ths intercooler in the future

please advise thanks

think it depends on the boost pressure after remap,(green spring up to 15psi )mine peaks higher so im trying a yellow spring at the moment :)

Yep, choose the spring to suit the highest (peak) pressure it'll be running. Most stage 1 maps peak about 18 and hold about 14-15 so the yellow one is best.

Will the yellow operate fine on stock map for say a month or so until i get fmic? Or should i just wait and fit it all together??

I want to get the hardware in place before i map it

I will have fmic, intake, 007p

What bhp can i acheive?

I hear alot about a decat but its not really something im interested in??

Just leave the standard DV on until its mapped. If you put the 007P on with the yellow spring you will find it doesn't open quick enough so it'll stall the compressor.

Depends on how healthy the car is as to what bhp can be achieved with a stage 1 but around 210bhp is usual. With a good intercooler you will get 210 consistently rather than it getting worse the hotter it gets

Yup defo want a fmic!! Couldnt handle

210 bhp for 5 seconds then hear soaked back down to 180bhp!!

Stall the compressor??

Stall the compressor??

When the boost can't get out of the DV quick enough so tries to go back through the turbo compressor wheel.

Yikes!!
