Fabia Sharkfin Aerial

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have very bad radio reception in my Fabia compared to other cars I go in on the same roads. It's got to the point where I hardly ever listen to the radio and when I do it's better streaming it from my phone via my X Car Link adaptor.

The first thing I tried was a booster on the back of the OEM HU, it made a little difference, but not for long.

So I guessed there was something wrong with the OEM mast, so I purchased this From TPS, they said it should fit. I got the part number from here http://www.fabia-vrs...y-part-numbers/

It was going to be fitted by Ross on here while my car was in for a winter health check at Skoda, however I was told it would not fit. I'm a little confused, have I got the right part or not?

Cheers

Joe

I doubt it will improve the reception much to be honest.

The plug connectors have different sleeves which aren't compatible

but if you remove the outer sleeve then they should go together fine.

Heatshrink or tape up to hold connection together.

Have a read of this.
