Double check parts please

Featured Replies

Rear disks needing done very shorty so I'm ordering the parts from ECP to get the 25% discount.

It only lists my car as 2.0 petrol rather than 2.0T. There is only one disk option but there are two different Padgid pad types.

Did you get this sorted?

Basically it depends if your callipers / braking system is made by BOSCH or LUCAS - normally stamped on the callipers, or brake resovior - if your still stuck, drop us a post in our forum and we'll check the VW system

its the Pagid pads you need.

Incidently my Calipera say "Ate" on the front and TRW on the rear.

Both sets of Pads were Padgid, hence the dilemma.

I did get it soted I found an older ECP response to the same question that said get the Lucas pads. So I did and they fitted.

Just the front discs and pads, front tyres, 5yr service, tax and MOT to get done now......:(

Its worth noting - that a reply to an older post doesn't mean they are correct for your car (even if the vehicles seem identical)

They are dependant on the PR Number - defined by VAG when the car is built - its possible for 2 'identical' cars to have different braking systems, and thus require different pads....

Let me know if you face any issues

You know the "ask a question" bit on your site isn't working?
