Used to be? :giggle:

Where is it now?

Nope, same place as all Fabias, in the engine bay behind the airbox. :)

Hmm, now what car did I have that had it there... got me thinking now lol

I took it out for a spin today on a mixture of A,B and motorways. First impression was the throttle response was better at low speeds and nice and smooth.Next I took it on the A roads for a bit of overtaking, this is where the biggest difference is. Once you knock it down a gear or two and it's just above 3000 revs it just takes off all the way too 6000 revs. On two occasions whilst over taking when the front tyres hit the white lines they lost grip because of the power which is a bit worrying although it was only for a split second. I think today's drive has been the only time since i've owned this car that I can say the acceleration scared me a little.

So I think i'm going to have to drive it a bit more to get over my fear

Nice, sounds good :)

Where in Kent are you Hammer32?

I had an AMD 'One Click' on the VRS Mk1 and it was absolutely fantastic !

Only had 160bhp (130 standard) but the map was SMOOOOOOOOOOTH !!

My ECU was removed too for the map by Awesome GTi. That too took ages to finish the work.

I'm going to check to see if there is any improvement in the mpg today, that's if I can keep my foot pushing too hard on the loud pedal
