Care needs to be taken removing these due to the curtain airbag!

Be careful not to snap off the plastic tangs in the bottom corners as the dealer did with mine or loose some of the other clips; see photo below :doh:

If you have the spare wheel you will need to remove the false floor;

Remove the two vertical fasteners; one either side to release the carpet cover from the boxes;

then remove the fasteners holding the boxes to the floor.

Most of the fixing screws are Torx head but the sizes escape me from memory.

Hope of help,

Does that info come from the erWin site?

Have a copy of the 2011 Skoda elsawin purchased from fleebay.

Also had a few copies of the ETKA parts system but they appear to stop working after a while, something to do with the licence running out I believe.

If you need any particular Yeti diagram then just send me a PM and I'll see if I've got it.

Thanks; I'll never use 99% of the info but I like to know how it's put together.

I tried to download a manual on-line, however haing paaid for the service the manual isn't actually there. Caveat Emptor

I've now ordered a disc from Ebay. It looks similar to the above.

You MUST remove the boot hook rails first, they bolt through into the side of the car. Trying to do anything with that trim panel without first removing them will get you nowhere!

Hello

I need to replace the closing mechanism for the fuel filler cap on my 2010 Yeti. I suspect that to access this I need to remove the side trim as indicated above, however most of the photos in Plumber's post are no longer visible.

Could anyone confirm if I'm going in the right direction re access, and whether they have photos/diagrams or where I might find them?

Many thanks

Philip

Hello Kevin

Thanks for you post and diagrams. As you've probably realised it's the part numbered 5 that I need to replace. I can't though from the diagram work out how I access behind the filler area. I presume that the screw 3 holds the mechanism in place against the back of the filler but loosening it won't get me very far. Ideas?

Regards

Philip

That would be accessed from behind the right trim panel in  the boot,

Boot trim it is then and I've found the excellent guide in the tow bar post.

Thanks again for your help.
