Roomster fixed towbar on-car photos please?

Featured Replies

Hi

Have you got a fixed towbar on the back of your Roomster? Could you please share a photo or two with us?

I want to see the size of bumper cut and where the towball lands. I am looking to fit a flange towbar, need specifically this for towbar carrier box and as a rear end crash repellent, but any picture of a fixed towbar will do.

Just test driven the Roomster 1.6TDI, surprisingly good handling and at last a long 5-speed gearbox (10 years waited for this one) with 32mph/1000rpm drive in 5th, I agreed purchase, will commit tomorrow as soon as insurance payout on my wife's rear-ended Octavia is confirmed.

Delivery quoted early to mid May.

I can help. I got a fixed towbar on my Roomster.

I will take some photos of my Roomster and the towbar tomorrow. :-)

And congratulations on your car.

Many thanks, this was exactly what I needed.

I plan to get also a Westfalia, but flanged version, part number 317083. Instructions for 317083 list cut lower in the bumper and only 50mm x 65mm.

You are welcome :-)

Did not know what "Westfalia" was... Then I looked at logo on the plastic protector.
