Fair prices on work

Featured Replies

£180 labour charge for a full service, 312mm brake upgrade and a cam belt change including bearings, does this sound like a good price? This was a 70k miles service as the cam belt had not previously been changed although i know it should have been!

That sounds very reasonable to me :)

Normally you'd expect to pay more than that just for a cambelt change

Very reasonable.

Sounds like a steal.

Sounds a good price to me.

Including water pump too !!

DB.

Bargain

I'm gonna go with..too cheap! Unless its mates rates or a garage with decent rep

Why is it so cheap? Parts alone for the cambelt are nearly that!

And the £180 was just the labour the cam belt kit is £125 just for parts.

It was mates rates, but i don't go anywhere else so i was just wondering how much cheaper if any it is for me to carry on going there, looks like its quite a bit cheaper though!
