I thought I'd post here in the general section so I can get views from across the Skoda range.

I was booked in to AMD Essex to get a remap, Eibach lowering springs, service etc.. Anyway, they got in touch to say they were having trouble getting the Eibach springs and they'd tried H&R as well. I didn't even know they did H&R springs because it wasn't on their website.

Having now had a look on t'interweb I see H&R lower by 40mm and Eibach by 30mm so I think I'd prefer H&R, but what do you lot think about the two options, regarding quality, ride, comfort, dynamics, anything to give me a steer?

I look forward to hearing your views

For what car? I am viewing the mobile version of the site do can't tell if you have added this information elsewhere in your profile.

It's a Superb 2005 PD130, but I've gone and booked the Eibachs now anyway.

I chickened out of the extra 10mm drop that the H&R would have given me. I'm too scared of the wife

For me, I'd tend to trust Eibach to tighten up the dynamics without screwing me too much over the ride, sight unseen, without further corroboration.
