Does anyone know how long the delay will be for the DSG box for the ROOMSTER? I've had my SE+ on order since mid Aug '11 and it's rumoured they're short of g/boxes.

Original I was about to order a Roomster with DGS, but the dealer told me that there was a wait time between 6 months to 1 year or more her in Denmark.

And that will have a bigger impact for my financial situation.

But again, I have never had a automatic.

I have no idea. I only know that in FInland the DSG is no longer available for the Roomster. And the only Fabia model available with the DSG is the vRs.

Someone on a FInnish forum said that it is because delivery problems of the DSG boxes, but that's all I know.

Skoda know exactly when your car is scheduled for production. Even if they are not telling your dealer. Keep calling customer services and ask them for the schedule.

When I ordered my DSG car in February 2011 I was given all sorts of estimated dates. When it arrived in July 2011 I was told "we knew from the day you ordered it there was a 25 week wait and we have delivered it early". The only time I and the dealer found out about the 25 weeks was after delivery.

Ordered a UK spec Roomster SE 1.2TSi DSG in April 2011, when I was given a build date of the first two weeks in August. I was on the road early September 2011. Hope that helps.
