Rear washer jet - still an issue in Modern Octavias ?

Featured Replies

Was gonna say after twoskods post that mine definitely has a little lift out filter bit that sits in the reservoir inlet and it literally only sits in there like a basket strainer so it must be available to buy as a part, surely?

Also, from what inspectorman was saying, what's this clip that VAG now use? Is it something cheap and helpful that's worth doing and will protect my boot from getting soaked or is it pretty much the same fix as just chucking some tiny cableties as above, cos i've got loads of those just sitting around spare.

Mboy, is that an estate? Mine is and just trying to work out if it's gonna be in the same place. At that, is it in the same place regardless of body shape?

You will also find that a replacement washer jet will be hard to fit when replaced after 4/5 years, because the anti-corrosion treatment of the tube on which the jet sits is not great. There

Agreed, mine was definitely a bugger to get on.
