window problem

Featured Replies

Today in the middle of Manchester after parking up I went to wind my window up (electric) and the motor sounded sluggish then nothing happened, next sound I hear is like a scratching crasking noise and now the window wont go up. The motor now sounds like it is trying to move but cant

50p says the regulator has broken and the cable has now wound itself around the mechanism.

Only option is to strip the door down and repair the regulator. Repair kits are available on Ebay for about £20

Edit: Here they are :)
