Electric window problem helpppp

Featured Replies

Hi come out to car yesterday and it was raining and both front electric windows Wher down. I thought I just had left them down but when I went to work and made sure I had them up and locked car. About a hour later I noticed that they Wher back down. Can anyone help me as not very handy parking car and leaving it.

Switch in your door thinks your trying to unlock. Someone on here recently had this issue fixed easily by cleaning the lock barrel, hopefully this should work for you and I'm sure someone else will be along shortly with more advice.

If they struggle to go up at all or sometimes go back down when your putting them up try some silicone grease in the channels in case it's the anti trap device working overtime. It's not a bad thing to do anyway. I do it on all my cars & the windows wizz up & down. (so to speak)

Paradad the OP's windows were up when he left the car and they have both come down in the time he has been away from the car, this couldn't be the channels however the silicone on the channels is a good maintenance tip and something I personally do.
