Overall really impressed with the car, can't get over how smooth and refined the CR engine is over the old PD unit in my Elegance. Really happy with the new black red stitched Alancantra interior and I think the carbon inserts are nice (I know some have a mixed opinion on them. I also really like the Bolero unit, touch screen is great and playing music from the Sd card is good.

I was also happy to get the new Skoda Oil top-up kit, I had an old Audi one before so nice to have a Skoda branded leather case with the oil. Seemingly Skoda have just started supplying them with new cars

One question though, what's the antenna aerial for on the off-side rear estate window?

Very nice - the silver roof rails set it off well. I wish I could get a CR170 lump into my Scout (rather than remapping which involves breaking the ECU open).

The antenna on the driver's side estate window is part of the diversity system. I don't get exactly how it works but I believe it reduces or eliminates multi-path interference on the radio by processing signals from two aerials.

Congrats on the new motor looks sweet love the colour will be good to see some interior pics for the carbon with the new darker seats etc. Any plans for modifications (colour coded grill) enjoy the new car smell and jealous of the oil kit thing jammy begger!

Ah yes - the Vision D, doesn't look that different from the Octavia so don't really get why they are bothering with it, but oh well

Will be leaving standard, and have already bought a micro-fibre mit so the sponge has been vanished!

Looks great best of luck with it, race blue is the only colour in a vrs in fairness. It is there signature colour

Hi everyone

I just got one the same last week v.nice in blue, the dealer had a green one on display, was almost tempted by it, had an 07 VRS diesel before, engine certainly seems quieter than last one, although cant remember how it sounded when new.

New radio looks nice, think the CD multichanger will be redundant with the SD card slot available. Any suggestions for fitting hands free mobile phone kit?
