Stainless exhaust for Integra Type R DC2 - uk spec

Featured Replies

I'm asking on behalf of a friend. He's after a new stainless system for his Integra. He's seen this one on fleabay and asked me what I think,

I'm no expert on rice burners, so wondered if anyone on here knew a thing or two about exhausts for them. My first thought was that it's quite cheap comapred to the systems people buy on here for the Octavia vRS, but again, I'd value to other people's opinions.

Thanks,

Andrew.

All I know is generally the exhausts are pricey, and that one is cheap. Pay for what you get and all that?

I had a spoon n1 system, it was great! Single 3 inch tail pipe so none of that ridiculous chav cannon business. Was just abit to loud on vtec, sounded great just annoying after a short while.

Don't they usually put JDM bits on integra's.

Friend has a import DC2 and has a couple of exhaust on it as first one was far to loud even for a rice burner

In my defence, the fleabay option was a bit tongue in cheek, although if someone says they're worth a look I'll not discount it! Part of the issue is to get a half decent set-up I'd really need to change the header to the JDM kit, which requires a new cat, which will require a new system. There are a couple of aftermarkets for UKDM models that can be direct cat-back replacements in the region of £500+ which might be worth a look.

The whole point of looking into this is becasue of annoying rattles in the rev range which are likely to be heat shield problems, but as Skinnyman will tell you, I always fear the worst!

Cheers for the comments so far!

I'd recommend a Spoon N1 exhaust, sounds the absolute nuts when vtec kicks in.

Best bet is to get on the Honda forums, you'll find a second hand full system for a couple £££quid.

Don't buy a cheap thing from fleabay

G

Mugen twin loop!! But rather pricey

Big Jase - I know, that's what I'd really like to fit, but it means changing everything from the header back, which makes it even more pricey!
