Condensation on rear window! FIX? maybe!

Featured Replies

Hello :hi: people,

When I first joined this site, I remember reading a thread on how the rear window mists up on the inside of the octavia during the night or when leaving the car after being in it. Well this got me thinking I went out and looked and sure enough mine was all misted on the inside. So I went and bought a dehumidifier unit a small one it works by having salt in the top of a pot around 9" long and 4" wide it attracts the water or moisture into the unit and collects in the bottom then you just empty it out, and replace. I have placed mine in the right hand side of the boot, just inside the little recess that has the netting with the little metal bar running through it (storage area) Fits perfect!!

I have not had any misting up since putting this in, and emptied it yesterday as it was full, RESULT!!!!

Any way just thought I would share this with everyone, maybe its already been done and I now look silly. :peek:
