Random misfire when idling?

Featured Replies

'06 VRs petrol (BWA).

I have a slight misfire which I notice even when idling. Revs stay constant @ approx 750, but through the drivers seat/footwell you can 'feel' the frequent and random misfire 'kicking' the engine.

Also noticable under load in low gears at lower speeds / town driving - just trailing the throttle in 3rd/4th at 2000 rpm seems worse.

Plugs replaced (Bosch), coil packs swapped, PVC valve changed (was knackered), injector cleaner run through system, problem still exists with MAF disconnected, no light or faults logged.

Any thoughts / ideas?
