I am a week into my ownership of a fantastic Superb 2.0 CR SE hatch and i have a small query.

When i unlock the doors, the central locking/alarm makes a small 'bleep' kind of noise, a little like those aftermarket alarms of the '80's.

The manual makes no reference to it but wondering whether i can silence it, as wife feels it detracts a little from the car.

Any advice??

Page 25/26 in the manual, in the mfd, go setup and its called ata confirm. It might be under comfort or convenience

As dobbey says it's the ATA confirm, just needs unticking in the MFD menu,
