I was wondering if someone could help, I've just had my drivers seat cover and padding replaced, all part of an airbag problem I was having. Problem is now I'm convinced the seat colour don't match, it looks more greyer that the others. The work was carried out by a Skoda Dealer therefore they should have the correct part number etc to match. Is anyone aware of variations in seat colour for different models of octavia? My car is an 2002 Octavia 1.9 TDI Elegance in green.

The dealer said he was happy with the match, but he would. The work cost me over 700 and I want to be assured it's ok.

Hope someone can help whose had similar issue.

Your car is 10 years old; it would be a major surprise if a brand new seat cover wasn't either darker (due to sun bleaching) or lighter (due to 10 years of dirt) than the original one.

Does the new cover match the rear bench or not?

Just had a second pair if eyes look at it and yes it does seem to match the back seats better, so gonna throw some upholstry cleaner on the passenger seat and see how it looks.

A Rug Doctor with the hand tool is brilliant for cleaning the seats. Brought my VRS seats up like new
