Abandoning my 110r restoration...

Featured Replies

Hi...

I'm abandoning my project (see www.110r.co.uk) due to not having done anything for 3 years, and being in need of cash!

So there is a shell, some of the parts have been just tack welded together other welds will be a little more difficult to cut.

There are all the other parts to complete the car, and boxes and boxes of new parts.

The engine will probably need a rebuild, as it spent last winter outside. But it's a 130 engine and gearbox, so easy to find a replacement here in Czech

Got a set of Steel wheels with all year tyres, and a set of alloys with winter tyres on.

The one catch is I am based in The Czech Republic. But I am driving an empty van to the UK (Essex/Suffolk area) in a weeks time.

I will also be driving a car (possibly a van) over in the summer.

Small parts I can send via post. Rates are here:-

As for prices, I'm not looking to rip anyone off, Just get back some of the money I paid for the bits, use www.aukro.cz as a price guide (just search for 110r)

Also, if anyone wants the domain name www.110r.co.uk then I won't be needing it any more...

mail me at [email protected] and I can answer questions as to what bits I've got, take photos e.t.c.

Damian

We actually have other members who live or visit Czeck Republic regularly.

Sorry to hear that you've run out of steam though.

BTW, Most of the lower metalwork is new... the New floor is pretty much permanently welded to new sills and the new front tunnel, other new parts (inner front wings and 1 rear inner wing) are tack welded on. 1 Inner rear wing is original (repaired). The luggage floor area is new, and just tacked on.

All other parts of the skeleton are origional (some repaired, some not, but all stripped of paint).

Outer front wings are new, and not fitted (I have 2 sets)

Rear wings are second hand but in good condition (still have paint)

Bonnet and engine cover are origional and in good condition, stripped of paint

Front or car (4 hole) and rear are origional, but in good condition, also stripped of paint.

Engine was working when removed, but has sat around for a few years, same for 5 speed gearbox.

Axles e.t.c. have been rebuilt in some places, others parts not done yet.

All parts are there for rebuild.

I've got all glass, and new windscreen rubber (maybe got 2)

Doors are original, not touched yet, but not rusty.

Got loom, but it has been chopped around in the past, was planning to make a new one.

Other stuff (trim, electrics e.t.c.) I mainly have new parts.

Seats not in all that good condition, was planning to make / buy new.

Hi. Do you have 2 fuch style wheel trims the black and silver decorative ones for 14 inch steels? And I'm after an engine bay lid badge. Many thanks . Justin
