Yeti on Carplan Trim Wax Product

Featured Replies

You clearly know nothing about cleaning products

Why dont you search the online car product sites if you dont want experienced advice?

Then you can make your own mind up

OK..Dont get G4..I really dont care less...Apart from it being the best product of its type available..Your call

As for my opinions on Car plan products..Ive NEVER found any of their products to be of any use..Hence the word 'crap'..Its greasy and will not last very long

Good luck in your search

BTW....GTechnik C1 (Paintwork Sealer) C4 (Plastic Trim sealer) C5 (Wheel Sealer) are the same product..just marketed differently

You make some very large presumptions!

I own a car to be used, therefore it is invariably VERY dirty, When I do get around to cleaning it it either gets put through the local car wash, get washed with a bucket and some car shampoo, or blasted with the local pressure washer. Sometimes, possibly annually, it might even get a polish. If I think I need to clean the plastic I do not want to prat around with rolls of masking tape. As I said I want a product I can slap on and wipe/wash off QUICKLY and EASILY, and preferably cheaply. If it looks good for the next day or two that is fine by me, because after that it will probabaly be covered in **** again anyway. Now that probably goes against the grain with you and others of the "detailling" ilk, but that is the way it is. I can't see their obsession with it, but if they wish to do their thing then fine, carry on, but do not criticise those of us who don't, as you seem to be doing.

For you or anyone to describe a product as "crap" with no explanation is a worthless bit of typing, mainly because you haven't provided a reason for that decision, and it is only your opinion. If you can back it up with good reasoning and examples then I might agree with you. I could turn around a say that all Fabia's or Estate cars are crap, but unless I can prove it I'd be wasting my time, as you full well know, (and actually I wouldn't bother saying so)

actually the Gtechniq stuff does not require masking, just that you wipe any off the paintowrk as soon as possible. The fact that it lasts for up to 2 years should make any extra care in applying it time well spent really.

but as has been said you are all free to choose!

Dont waste your time dom :wall:
