2nd service for my one this week and the dealer knew nothing either.

Hardly surprising. Skoda wont tell the dealers until production is about to start.

Just been bored so was looking on web and came across this website, even had pictures of the Octavia III from a magazine. Not sure how accurate it is but theres loads of info on the website.

The Octy III hasn't even been unveiled yet, let alone released.....haven't we got the MK7 Golf to release before this anyway.

Just think when the Citygo was unveiled and only now nearly a year on they are filtering through to dealers for customers to buy.

I reckon it will be Q3/4 of 2013 if you are lucky and then Q2/3 of 2014 for the VRS if you are very lucky. Realistically i think it will be Q1 2015 for a Octy VRS.

The Rapid needs to be launched first. I reckon this will be the one to go for when the VRS comes out as the new Octy will be bigger than the current one and probably Passat sized if not just slightly smaller.. I will certainly be having a good look at it when it is released.

Autoexpress have piccies of the Rapid undergoing testing. Even though it's still wearing some disguise, it looks bland beyond belief. I think Skoda are going to have trouble turning it into a decent looking vRS. They'd be better off going back to the drawing board.

Inautonews.com have undisguised pictures of the Rapid testing at the Nurbergring. Looks like a saloon Octavia to me.

Its been known now for a few months that Rapide will be Golf/Focus size, and new Octy larger, near Passat, so where does that leave Superb? Phaeton size?

Skoda's boss said at Geneva only the Fabia and Octavia would get VRS treatment. The hottest others would get is a sport version (bit of body kit essentially)
