After having spent the the weekend at the outlaws I had some time on my hands. I have finally managed to get the gauges, pod and vacuum hose fitted. I am very happy with the outcome.

I decided to route the pipe, round the front, as the strut brace was blocking my original idea of going under slam panel.

Here is the finished article!

Next will be the coilovers, alloys.

I got 4 metres, and had some left over including a few tiny cut offs as i originally made the FPR pipe too long. Left over I going to use for the pipe out of the top of DV.

What do u think of the Alloys?

On Sunday i had a bit of a road trip...... firstly I went to Vlad's for a mini meet to look at door controllers etc, as both have a similar issue.

then when finished there a little trip up to the big smoke to Gee-man to pick up this little puppy

Thanks Big man, SWMBO wouldnt let me cut the bumper on there as it went on it in Oct/Nov 2011 after accident, so it was immaculate.

put it up against the car today too, think it will look good once repaired and sprayed up, this will take a bit of time as back to work full time next week. Woo Hoo! so bigger and more expensive parts can be bought now still going with the Momo Alloys an Coilovers first.

Also some part ordering has taken place, the first part to arrive was this little puppy.

At the outlaws next weekend so will get that fitted.

Also ordered have been some nice 18" alloys, tyres were ordered but they were out of stock, so they need to be re ordered from somewhere else. Then just the coilovers to go next week too.

SO I have been busy working hard over the last few weeks, but managed on friday last week to get my rubber on my alloys and fit them, just before a nice 100 mile hike in the pouring rain. smart idea on brand new rubber

Also on Monday night I fitted my £47.99 Ebay CAI, thought I would give one a go.

Have to say, very impressed with it. Dont know it's on there, until you give it beans. Being an aluminium pipe when you let off the throttle it is a bit boy racerish as you hear the dump valve dumping quite clearly outside now, to the point someone actually turned round to see what was coming own the road.

On a performance level, WOW! impressed with it, quick changes no real loss in power or have that much lag now either compared to standard box with pipercross panel in it.

Cracking buy. very very happy with it.

Fitting it was fun, had to invert one of the horns so cone would fit, but that was it.
