I'd say it took you quite some time! Running around in a car like this, stone chips are inevitable... I think I had my 1st one the day I drove back from the dealer's, certainly wasn't taking my time though... :giggle:

I got a massive one with a dent at 60 odd miles.......That was on the M40 on the drive back from the dealer.....I could have cried.

I've got 5 now just noticed a new one when giving it a polish, got the first one 2 days after picking it up.

I had two on the fronts bumper but my best mate works in a bodyshop and got rid of them for me with a touch up pen, scalpel blade and wet n dry paper :)

gutting isnt it? and i did so well avoiding all the grotters over winter.

letting the paint sink and fill the hole then 2000 and 3000 grits before a nice polish.

Got 2 on the bonnet and one on the windscreen. YAY!

Yeah, got 2 a few weeks back. The undercoat looks an ivory colour.

Sharkrider caused most of mine at WSM last year :/ he absolutely peppered my bonnet with his winters :'(

Was good fun though ;)

lol... you are welcome ;)

I have loads. front part of the bonnet is a mess!

Which is the best way to get rid of these chips?, without messing it up !

Paint protection film for bonnet and bumper? ;)

you can get your front bumper etc wrapped in a clear vinyl wrap.

thats would stop stone chips amd the paint getting scratched.

I Think everyone at some point will get stone chips film protection or not

ive got a few now too but with it being a white car its not as obvious and no little whits dots left after a good polish either
