New Yeti advert and EVO test

Evo have loved the Yeti since day one, especially the 1.8TSi they had on long term review. Its interesting they note that the slightly softer ride is more beneficial in the corners - Ive always found that this is why its possible to drive it harder through a series of bends than friends cars with harder, less compliant suspension. As for the Pimp my ride video...hmmmm. :giggle:

Oh come on, at least it is funny!!:rock:

That last one is quite amusing. :giggle:

Thanks for these,

Praise from Evo and a funny advert excellent!

It's interesting that EVO once again praise the Yeti's handling, saying you should expect body roll, but there is very little.

Several other reviews have commented on "excessive body roll" which really does make me wonder how many magazine reporters actually drive the cars that they are reviewing. I often feel they take a look at a photo of the car in the press pack and think "it's a 4x4, so I'd better report that it doesn't handle well"? Many a true word....... etc?

Agree! From experience, the Yeti has similar amount of body-roll to a X5 and that is meant to have good handling.

That 2nd video is no longer available to watch..........

I couldn't get to it yesterday either, but there's a version that's still available (for the time being) - http://www.briskoda....9-new-skoda-ad/

Just found it and watched it.
